At Pursuit we believe that Finding Freedom in Christ starts in community, and relationships.
  • Connection Groups are groups that meet to grow relationships that support each other through real life.
  • These groups can lead to many different topics and many areas of life.
  • Some will meet on a continual base but take breaks; other groups will meet for a set amount of time. 
  • Groups are based on relationships and interests. ​

Current Groups

Faith & Fitness
Leader: Danny Tincopa

Group meets weekly in the Matthews area of Charlotte to work out and work on living a healthy lifestyle. They also hold each other accountable and regularly talk about spiritual things. You do not have to be in good shape to join them; they will help you train at your fitness level. To Join, or to ask questions about the group, click below.
Proverbs 31 Womens Group 
Leaders: Yalanda Williams
This group is a mentorship group for young women who want to be the women God created them to be. This is a monthly. Powerful things can happen when we let God make us the women he has created us to be.
Men of Honor
Leaders: Pastor Ryan & Jeff Swinton
This group is all about Men. Sorry ladies, you are not invited. Our focus is on helping you become the man that God intended you to be. Inside of you, God has created a Mighty Man of Valor. We will look into what being a Biblical man of God means in our current world and discuss real issues that we as guys have. Plus, we will do some cool manly things together.
​We meet once a month, usually on a Sunday evening, at different locations around Charlotte, specific to the activity.  Come dressed to hide in the woods and get dirty. For more info or to join, click below.
Connection Study Group
Leader: Shelby Lucas
Don't worry; they do more than study; at this group, you will find real people that love to eat together and hang out. They meet twice a month on Friday nights at 7:30 PM to grow in relationships, and then they study whatever book they as a group decides.
